Since 1954, spark erosion equipment has been manufactured in Remscheid.
AEG-ELOTHERM thus became the first German and - at the same time with a Swiss company - also the first world-wide manufacture of EDM machines. Even at that time, Remscheid's machines were known for their solid machine design and innovative generator and control technology.
 
As of June 1st, 2003, the spark erosion division of Elotherm is an independent company. Under the name of Elo-Erosion GmbH, the experienced team continues the long tradition and will remain trend setter.
